Free Sharpenning?

I am new to knives, and have already purchased two Kershaws. A Leek and a scallion. My leek was wonderfully sharp out of the box, but the scallion left a bit to be desired. I have always had great luck sharpenning my kitchen knives on a Shun whetstone that I have, but trying to work on the scallion has been disasterous. It is WAY dull now. I read on another forum post that Kershaw will sharpen it for free? Can I just ship this back to them or am I mistaken. I saw nothing on their website that says that they will sharpen for free...

Thanks,
Lestat

From their website under warranty:

Will you sharpen my knife?

Yes, we sharpen every knife sent in for warranty service as part of our normal procedure. We provide this service free of charge.
We will only sharpen and repair Kershaw Knives.

I have a Kershaw Vapor. It was very dull out of the box. It responded very favorably to a session with the GATCO. It is now very sharp, slices and cuts quite nicely, with what seems to be a very durable edge.

Personally I've found that systems like the GATCO and Lansky aren't the best for recurves. I use the Sharpmaker on them.
