...Or at least that's what I thought.
To my surprise, I arrived home this afternoon to find a package from Busse Knife Co. waiting for me on my porch. Inside the box was a brand new Steel Heart-E! Strangely, I hadn't ordered the knife and there was no charge to my account. Thinking that it was Christmas in November, I promptly called Busse to find out if Jerry had been playing Santa. No such luck. Apparantly, there was some sort of mix up at the shop since I had ordered and received a SHE back in July*. In any event, the Big Brown Truck is now en route to pick up the knife for its trip back home, and I am once again down to just one SHE.
(*Busse users and collectors beware! Dave let slip that Busse is instituting a new marketing campaign in which they ship knives to established customers unsolicited and then attempt to persuade the customer to purchase the knife. Stay strong, as this evil tactic almost worked on me.
