Free spinning handle screws

I put my handle scale screws in my xm18 3.5. And I did use blue loctite. I had the screw halfway in and had to take out. I went to put back in immediately cause a washer fell out or something and now my handle screws are all free spinning in the nuts. They won’t loosen or tighten. Any ideas ?

Try applying heat to soften the Loctite. You also may have better luck using something rubbery/grippy to press against the handle nuts while loosening the screws.

I did very lightly press a soldering pen to the screw maybe Not long Enough or maybe i should apply to the nuts instead of the screws. Thanks

I have used two pieces of wood one with a hole slightly larger then the screw head and thick duct tape on the other one. I used a couple of C clamps the squeeze the boards and put pressure on one half the unscrew the screw through the hole.
