Guys:

I strayed a bit from HI and bought a couple of folding knives from CRKT (Columbia River Knife & Tool). These were the Desert series special forces and M16 Big Dog knives, with the Operation Iraqi Freedom logo imprinted in the blades.

Anyway, the knives each came with a CRKT T-shirt, sized large (which size I haven't worn since high-school.) On the front top left in blue it says "Columbia River Knife & Tool" with their logo, with a picture of the Carson M-16 folder above it. One the back, it says "For Those Who Serve" with an American flag, and Gary Paul Johnston's trademarked 1* (one-ass-to-risk!) shield. (See a pic of the back at www.agrussell.com/images/maker/crkt/cl-shirt.jpg)

I'll be glad to send them out to whoever would like one. Remember they are high-quality cotton tees, sized large, and I just have two of them. Just respond to this thread here, and I'll send them out to the first two folks who ask. My wife's company will even pay the shipping to you, so you can't beat the price!

Regards,

Norm

May I please place my name on the request list?

You got it Nasty. Just send me an email with your send-to address and I'll get it out.

Regards,

Norm

Sure Mark. I'll send the last one to you. Same deal as Nasty, just send me your contact info via e-mail.

They should go out Tuesday.

regards,

Norm

uh....are ya plannin' on buying anymore CRKT knives in the near future?

'Cause it looks like I might be third on the list. :D

I own several CRKT knives 5 m-16 3 m-13Z and 4 of the larger versions, also 3 of the neck knife

love their knives

but I never got a T-shirt :grumpy:

over 60 USD.

I have an M-16-13 Ti on the way, bought from a seller on the sale forum tho, so no shirt (but a 40+ dollar discount fer buying 2nd hand!).

Gotta love that.

I love their knives. I have several myself. You should really check out the Hawk D.O.G (Deadbolt Over Grabstep). I think that it is one of their best knives. The lock is as soild as any I have seen on a folder. That is a very nice offer by the way. Good luck finding people on the forum that just wears a large! ;) I think sometimes this be the land of the giants.

I might be getting one more of these in the near future to round out my collection. If I do you are more than welcome to the shirt, UNLESS I can get them to send me a 2XXL, in which case I'll selfishly grab it!

I'll let you know.

Regards,

Norm

Thanks Mark. I am just getting a few of their folding knives, after previously owning 2 of their bear claw neck knives. I also am eyeing their new Corkum First Strike Tanto with the cord wrap / ray skin handle in 3 sizes. The only other fixed blade of theirs I have is the Hissatsu, which cuts like a fiend.

I'll check out this Hawk model right away.

Thanks again,

Norm

The CRKT M-16s feature a LAWKS system of locking the blade so it cannot be closed during use, similar to the Gerber covert Folder liner lock blocker.

I can't believe I am 18th on the list. I am that slow. :D :D

Congratulations to those the Lucky Two. :) :)

Got the shirt Norm...It's generously cut and fit well! Now it's up to SWMBO to not shrink it (she really likes the graphic on the back darn it...if it shrinks, she gets it by default) :-\

Thanks again...and to your wife for the mailing!!!

Glad you like it! (You too Mark!) It is cut generously as you say for a large, but unfortunately not generously enough for me! I think I'd need two of them sewed together.... :)

Regards,

Norm
