I will try to keep this as short as possible.
This morning while I was in my private reading room reading my new issue of Blade magazine, I came across Ed Fowlers article "Knife Talk", pg 68, and just about slipped off my throne!! He had a picture of a wooden knife I had sent to him with several others, for him to give away to young knife lovers. He is one of my knife heros, so this was a great surprise.
This made me realize how long its been since I made a kids day. I used to do it all the time and kind of ran out of kids and/or just got too bussy. My kids have them all over their rooms, my wife don't want me to give them anymore.
That brings me to the point-- I have 20 wooden knives to give to the first 20 people to e-mail me. But---- you must meet these requirements.
# 1. It must be given to a child.
It can be your child, your grand-child your friends child, a kid down the street, any child, boy or girl.
# 2. You must be willing to spend some time with that child teaching them about knives.
such as safty, care and be willing to watch them use and play with it. Hopefully they will learn to treat it as if it were a real knife.
# 3. Send me $5.00 for shipping, if you live outside the USA add a couple bucks. I don't plan on making a profit, I just don't want to pay for shipping too.
I give away these knives for 3 reasons. To see a kids eyes light up, it's a good learning tool, to make more custom knife fanatics. I have several designs so you may not get the exact one in Mr. Fowlers article.
If you really want something cool. I can also make you a custom knife to match the one for your child, (but it's gona cost more than 5 bucks)
The first 20 get'em. Thanks
