Sorry, what I meant to say in the title was free literature from the Professional Association of Wilderness instructors. The bottom ones are quick guides. I came across it while searching for edible tree bark in my area...and this the only place I would admit that.

Glad to see folks are getting use for those links. I plan on laminating the edibles one for future use and hope to incorporate one of those new-to-me foods in a future meal, (a little more prep research and a small trial amount to start of course). I had never thought of any bark layer as being a potential food source; and a plentiful year round one at that.
