My employer gives out gifts for reaching safety goals. You get a choice and this time I got a SAK Rambler. A nice little knife and when they're giving out free SAK's, I get in line. If all goes well and everyone stays safe for the rest of this year, they give out better stuff. The better stuff for me will be a V-nox Swisstool Spirit :D

From my previous employer I got a Leatherman Sideclip, one of my favorite tools.

Anyone else get any good freebies lately?

A few years ago I worked for a company that gave out gifts at your 5,10,15, etc. year seniority date. For my 5-yr gift I chose a little Gerber lockback. This was pre-Fiskars and the quality was still good. The fit and finish was excellent. No play at all in the lockup. The steel was nothing special. But it was free and I still carry it sometimes.
 
A few years ago, in a single year, a top-quality Thermos, a top-of-the-line Swiss Army watch with a little SAK (a boxed set -- $425 retail -- the company gave away about 8,000 of them) and a nice insulated vest. Another company I worked for gave everyone (over three years), soft luggage, leather or Gortex jackets and rings with a small diamond, the latter to celebrate a production record.
