I have had a neck knife by Jeff Freeman for about 6 months now. It is in S35 steel and I like it a lot. I just put it in my pocket rather than carry it around my neck. I did add a IWB strap to try it on my belt but now prefer to carry it in my pocket.
Has anyone some comments about their Freeman knives?

I thought I would add a photo so people can see the knife. It is next to a BK 24 for comparison.

Where did you get it from? Is it a YouTube guy? He usually makes big knives but it might be another Freeman. Either way, it looks good and S35Vn is very nice.

I met Jeff Freeman at the Oregon Knife Show, he is a cool guy and I really like his knives, but I haven't seen them too much on the forums. His button-lock folder was really nice, and I like his fixed blades. He uses some cool steels in his fixed blades, too: Spectrumwear and LSS PGK.

Jeff Freeman, in the past, worked for Gerber.
Now he has his own company. There are several youtube videos showing his knives.

I have one of those neck knives and its quite handy. It locks into the grip VERY well. My only gripe is that its .18 inches thick. I think it would cut way better if it was made of 1/8 inch stock

I hate neck knives, but have been championing the 451 Flipper for some time. Haven't gotten around to purchasing my own, but was so impressed by one I handled well over a year ago that I'm still yammering on about it.

I have one of his neck knives too! Great little blades!

Freeman knives are great! Freeman Outdoor Gear is more known for their fixed blades than folders, but the only Freeman I have is a folder. I've owned a Freeman 451 Button Lock Flipper (BLF) for almost 2 years now and it's an excellent knife. My version has a D2 blade with Aluminum handle, but you can upgrade to S35VN with Titanium handle. The fit and finish is spot on and the mechanism and lock are rock solid. It's really one of my favorite folders but just a little too big for daily office carry. Jeff also offers various inlay options so you can customize the look of your individual knife. If you've never checked one out, I highly recommend them. Here's a picture of a BLF (not mine).

Hey anttttt. How you still liking the neck knife? Is the sheath still as secure as when you got it?

I ordered one directly from Freeman’s website on Monday but haven’t gotten a response yet if it’s been shipped. I’m really looking forward to it.

Jeff is awesome to work with and I think his prices are fair. I love the folding design flipper that he made the 451.

Yeah I love the flipper. I’m gonna get another one of these days.

Regarding his prices though. The necker he was selling for around $50.00 a few years ago, and now it’s over double that which I don’t understand. But I had to have it anyway :)

He's got so many different options it really makes it customizable to your price point and materials you want.

He communicates all along the way also by email and is responsive to any questions that you have.

One thing I really love about the flipper is the option to open it with the flipper tab or the slot in the blade. It’s nice to have more options :-)
