My Wife and I did a weekend mini-vacation if Freeport, ME and I stopped in this establishment.

I was very impressed with their overall selection and knowledge.

They had several Customs and a fairly broad range of factory knives.

If you happen to be up in that area they are worth a visit.

I didn't price any of their factory knives but the customs seemed reasonably priced.

When we visit our friends in Portland and the women folk head to LL Beans I always take a short walk down the street to this shop.;)

They are real nice people to do business with, their prices are pretty close to the standard market and they are always willing to offer advice and answer questions. Got that real Maine, USA spirit.....wolf

I've talked with them and did some business over the phone, they are nice people for sure, Herb I've met at Ashokan, an up and coming knife maker himself! I hope to see him at the end of November, that's where they moved the Seminar weekend too....seems like a long wait!

Hi You guys I should vist here more often
My 2 cents..
I live fairly close to Freeport knife company
(In Freeport Maine
www.freeportknife.com)
in comparison to most of you,
They stocked some of my knives back
when I could keep up with the orders.

I've known
Doug and Rhoda (the owners)for sometime
now and they are very good people,
both personally and business wise.

If you like a place made for walking and a
very safe place for the kids that's the place,
Freeport is very small and busy in summer time.
Drop in to visit LL Bean, the shops, Restaurants
and other interests there if you have a chance.
A nice place to just walk and
hold hands with the other half.
