Hi guys,
I'll be visiting Paris this Saturday and will go to an little military surplus shop on the "Marche aux Puce" (large permanent flea market) and will get some of those nice Survival ration Aluminium Tins model 1964 from French Army size 7 3/8" by 3 3/8" by 1 3/8" (external size) for our scouting group.
But as my Boss is paying for the visit I can get extra tins if anybody is interested.
The cost of sending them to the US makes them probably to expensive for you but I think that I can send them over for about $25- $30 for 3 (Postage alone is $12-14) and then I'll have them polished to mirror shining for you.
Our scouts use them to store their personal Survival/first aid kits in and they are very strong.
go see them:
