Hello everybody!

It's my first post here as well as the first thread I start but I've been reading many of those in the last few years.
I've encountered an interesting knife on an auction service in Poland but I'm unable to find out more about it's producer - it seems that it's a French knife but on the blade there is a mark that looks like a ladybug - I've spent hours looking for any info on the Internet but found nothing. Can anybody help me identify the producer? :)

Thanks for your help! :D

it is a reconstruction off a former knife made by issard newly issued for a collection of the hachette printing and editing firm on the french knives theme
and it is a laguiole style folder

Thanks for this quick reply. Do you think it's worth something around 10$? I've heard that those Hachette knives are pretty useless, but never had any of them in my hands.

"Ce Laguiole, est sympa , de par sa forme générale, son côté plein manche... Son montage est bon et très souple. Signé à la coccinelle, une ancienne marque des établissements Issard., il fait un peu pâle figure avec ses côtes en plastique, sa croix au clou manquant... Néanmoins, sa mouche soudée est plane et pas laide, son cul est joliment découpé et la lame est bien de forme yatagan en acier inoxydable poli miroir. "
from a blog translation:
this laguiole from is general shape and no bolster handle is sympathic. the mounting is very good and smooth. signed with a ladybug former brand off the issard firm, it looks cheap with its plastic scales the missing rivet cross. however the welded fly is flat and not ugly; bottom is likely contoured yatagan stainless steel blade mirrror polished

they are copy and i think they are not made in France, but in asia costs matters...

i had one off that collection copy in my hand and it was not crap neither quality

This knife is part of the Hachette collection of French regional knives, made in China, they were sold monthly with a booklet recalling the history. This is a Laguiole, but seems to be plastic. IMHO you better stay away.
I found these for sale on the bay
