Frenzy II

It's on my list. I find the sheep's foot, Wharncliffe, modern Seax to be one of the most useful blade shapes.

This one looks like an XL winner.

Why do I want this knife so badly? Do you have one? What do you think of it?

I got mine this week and let me tell you, it's great.
Mine had a perfect build and centering, the only minor qualm was the almost shaving sharp spine but I took care of that immediately and started carrying it.

It's such an amazing knife to carry while running or biking. I do trail runs and rides, and sometimes I like to go off track a bit and explore. I have carried it on a few already and I love the ability of clearing brush with it whenever I get entangled, and it weighs next to nothing for the size. It also gives good peace of mind as a self defence implement. Seax vibes make you feel like some viking scouting in uncharted territory lol.

It's also surprisingly good at bushcraft tasks like doing shavings and such. The thin handle will prevent you from doing lengthy carving projects pain free (unless you're gloved) but it just gets things done when need be.

My current favorite big folder is still the 6" Hold Out in CTS XHP: the handle feels more secure, comfy and grippy, especially when wet, but even if it's pretty light for the size it doesn't carry nearly as well as this. It really is a hiker's dream, big knife without the bulk and weight. I only wish it had the good ol stair pattern G10, but the scallops in this smoother one definitely do the job. Some people don't like the somewhat high carry of the clip but I only carry big folders IWB so it's absolutely perfect the way it is for me.
Get one you won't regret it.

I had one a while back. I put a Snaggletooth MF on it. Now when THAT waves out of your pocket with a mighty “THWACK!” it hits the pleasure centers of the brain.

It cut stuff very well and concealed easily for such a big knife. Believe it or not, I used mine a lot in the kitchen. I liked it, but the ridiculous size eventually made me trade it off.
