Received a couple of goodies from the RWBTOJ yesterday and today. Trades from some other guys. I love "free" INFI!

First up, a Variant SFNO:

I suppose it is really a SOW Variant, but I'm sticking with SFNO, since the SOW is a variant itself. There is just a bare hint of recurve and the back line of the blade goes straight down to the tip. There is about 1.5" of semi-sharp swedge in that harpoon tip. Believe it or not, I traded something in satin and black paper for this. The world as you know it is on the verge of collapse....

Second, a BATACSE:

Got this one is trade for an Ergo Outlaw. For a guy who was unimpressed with the Badgers on their debut, I have developed quite the taste for these. I have two Customs and this SE on hand and one of the Ganzaa N-BATACs en route. I was surprised at how handle-heavy this one is compared to the customs. I wonder if it is the G10 versus the black canvas. I may have to experiment with some handle mods on this bad boy. I'm thinking it needs to have the rounded butt grind like the one Ban did for Skunk.

Thanks to my brother piglets for these.

Congrats on some really cool blades!

Great pics too... I really like your new backdrop.

Thanks for sharing!

I like this one!
Is it from Blade west?

Yes. My counterpart got it from there. This is a first for me in a couple of ways. It is the first magnum SF handled knife I have owned and the first SFNO. It reminds me in many ways of the Force 1. I should probably take some pictures of the two together. I had to cut my photo session short due to rain, so it will have to wait.

The pictures of the mag handles have always seemed too excessively swoopy for my tastes, but they fit my hand very well. I would love for Jerry to offer mag TAC handles with the larger palm swells (instead of just thicker slabs), just to see how they worked.

That would be the ticket alright! You nailed it Rick, and that's what I've uknowingly tried to do to the LE TAC handles on mine in the past.

Great looking knives and pics! Congrats on the trade, it does seem kinda like free INFI when you trade.
BTW- That stump is the best looking background I've ever seen

I think I'm having some eye trouble though, I could've swore It said you traded one of your Satin/Black Papers:eek:

You have NO idea how long I wrestled with myself before making the offer. It took all I had to click "send". It wasn't really until I held the SFNO in hand that I felt truly at ease with the decision.

i'm going to grind the butt off of a mole jack as soon as get it back from oku.

Congrats....I too wasn't very impressed at first with the BATAC till I held the BATACLE in my hand.
