I have been working on this design for quite some time.... It got its name from as a result of its intended purpose, chopping through green saplings and vines, this is not a camp firewood chopper. I have a few in the works in different materials

Vegan Croc Specs:
Steel: 3/16" 52100, 1095, M4 (So Far)
OAL: 21.25"
Blade: 14"
Handle: Stabilized Honduran Rosewood
Sheath: Leather

Thanks for looking, I would love to hear your comments or questions.

Jay I wanted to keep the weight down but still leave some weight at the tip. It is definitely inspired by some blades from your neck of the woods.

Thanks jball, let me know when you are ready ;)

if I may; as a light brush cutter, an inwardly curved edge is part of what you'd want. Too much belly pushes the light spindly stuff away, while an inwardly curved edge gathers that spindly stuff and shears it.
Consider the curvature of an axe's edge compared to a scythe's edge.
If this knife were designed for chopping at hard stuff, more belly would be a big advantage.

I am not a big fan of mosaic pins in general but I love the asymmetrical design and the way you indexed these. Great knife Ryan.

Looks like a bad day to be a veggie. I like it...good stuff. Ben

Very nice chopper Ryan. I like that very much. Really good pics as well.
Cheers Keith

Terrific design and this one is so beautifully finished! Very nice Ryan, and your sheath really completes this package! GG

Thanks everyone for your comments, and Lorien answering Jay's question much better than I did. I am looking forward to a few more of these.
