Hey guys, Just thought I'd post up my second knife.

What do you think?

I like it! Right up my alley. It has a great blade shape, looks well balanced, and the finish looks nice! My only question would be how aggressive is that spine jimping? It looks like it would tear your thumb up!

Very nice work overall, keep 'em coming!

The jimping is kind of agressive, but it sure makes for a positive grip when your thumb is on it! I dont think it will tear me up when using....mainly because my thumb doesnt move when its resting on the spine haha! The jimping went in past where I wanted to start my scales so I used my 3 sided file and cut the teeth into the scales, That kind of helps too.

Cool, thanks for the close up. If it's comfy then all is good, and when it looks as wicked as it does....even better!! Keep it up!

Looks like a nice user. Good for skinning and cooking. kind of looks like a 6" chef and general purpose work knife hyrbid. I love it.

Is it thick enough to handle decent any tougher work?

that's what I like about it too, it's a thinner blade but seems fairly stout. For some reason it reminds me of my leek (my edc for the past 8 years)

I may have to buy a couple more of those blades. I'm interested to see what kind of abuse it can take

It's nice. Simple and useful looking.

I'm getting from your posts that you bought the blade, and finished it?
