Hey gang, as the title says, I've got friction folder fever... BAD! I need some help finding some producers that are obtainable.

I know I like 'em a little funky like Timber Ghost Raptors and TUFFKnives TUFFToads. Cute little blades and tip down carry (safety first) The problem I'm facing is these are next to impossible to get due to low production or no longer producing and all the examples were priced out of this world.

I have some blades I'm trying to shift in order to free up some cash but until then, I need to find the right knife. Any info would be great!

Fellhoelter (possibly spelled wrong) Frikky. I am actually considering getting one when I get a spare $150 to play with.

If you still have the fever and are still looking I have the Tuffthumbz Gigantoad one off. Extremely rare because there is only one and it is the smoothest knife I have ever held.

If yu can find one, S. Usai and Sons, Sardinia, able a very nice traditional Sardinian resolza. I've been usinghtis one for a year or so, and it cuts grab. A very nice little edc pocket knife. Ram's horn handle and 12C27 blade.

Filip DeLeeuw, Eric Bonner, Daniel Fairly, Snody, Walter Wells...
Start here.

You could look at Michael Morris as well if you are interested in the affordable custom route.

Daniel Fairly makes a full titanium (titanium blade too) friction folder for ~$250. Tip down, 2.9oz, can't remember blade length I think it's 3".

The 3 Rivers LTC200 is a modern slipjoint. It's very well made and very unique.
The Spartan Nymph is also a new sj design. A bit pricey, but there's nothing else like it right now.

Both lock up extremely solid.

I cant stop playing with them, they're so cool.

Spyderco is coming out with a slippie called the PITTs which looks similar to the 3 Rivers LTC200.

I recently purchased a urbanica grande on the forums here. It's become my favorite folder. Some friction folders have opened and closed detent as well. Something to check out.
