Hey all, trying to build a friction folder for some groomsmen, I'm wondering about ideas for safety while it's closed in your pocket. I know that if it's tightened enough it shouldn't open, but i don't like the idea of it possibly loosening over time and causing an issue.
Ive done a couple searches, ideas I've seen so far are carrying the knife in a case of some sort (I'd like it to be more accessible though) and i saw something about putting a detent in for when it's closed.
Any other ideas out there? Or do you have any examples of using a detent and how you did it?
Thanks!

You can get ( or make) "pocket sheaths" (sometimes called Knife socks). The ones I used to give with high end folders were made in flanel, and they also come in nylon.

Another idea is a "keeper". Make a keeper that is shaped to exactly fit the knife and slips on, going over the ed of the blade. Have the keeper on a shport chain attached to the knife's bail. Slip the keeper on snug and the knife can't open.
