Recommendation? Friction folder

As someone used to making fixed blades, I am planning on attempting a friction folding knife with an aluminum handle. What recommendations would y'all have on how to ensure smooth operation etc? General suggestions on making friction folders? Existing threads on the topic?

Use a drill press and make sure it is trued to 90 degrees. Rreaming holes to size is a good idea.
The pivit is the critical part. Spend lots of time getting it right.
Make the first one simple.Save fancy for after you get the fit-up figured out.
