I've got the folder bug and started out with this friction type folder. Not your typical friction folder as it has brass liners and an O1 spacer. It has a brass pin stop for the tang and I will use a barrel pivet to attach the blade. Blade steel is O1. Scales are stag. This is not finished yet. Thanks for looking

Friction folders have been a favorite of mine for years. This one is very interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing it when it is finished.
 
Thanks guys. The pics show the blade unheat treated so it will be finished alot better then it looks. I had to the move the stop pin as I had it too low so it has an extra pin in each side of the handle. It's actually holding the liners in place. I have plans for a lockback folder in the near future.
