Friction Folders

I assume these will be considered traditional folders.

I just got a couple Svord knives, one wood, one blue plastic. I love the friction folder design, so I wondering if anyone know where to look for some more "higher" end ones? Maybe something that will take a little more abuse - something with a liner maybe. Any suggestions or tips welcome. Thanks.

Hi Toban -

I have a FF made by John Kiedaisch of JK Handmade Knives.

It is all G10, but it seems very rugged, and the O1 steel is very durable.

I like the knife, but I don't like the extended tang on Friction Folders. This one does not try to come open in my pocket, btw.

Thanks for the info, some of those knives are just stunning. Gotta love those friction folders. Cheers guys, and keep 'em coming.
