Dang, I wish I was in New York at the Show handling and trading or buying some Emerson Customs! - or just meeting those "new york boys" with all the customs! Now that they're gone for a day or so, anyone got any Custom Emersons for sale?

I am in the same boat with you Sniper308! I am one of the NYC suspects. The show is only 15 minutes uptown and I can't go because of an emergency situation at work. To top it off I am getting on a plane in 2 hours and will miss the show altogether.

Don't feel so bad, at least we CAN carry our Emersons daily in our states without fear of
prison time. (I am assuming the great state of Kansas is as free as Arizona)

Azwilly: I heard that there weren't all that many Emerson Customs at the show after all. Still, I would have liked to meet those "New York Suspects". But It's got to be a bummer to have to be so concerned about the "laws of the land" to not be able to carry not only knives but guns as well. I believe Arizona is somewhat more liberal than Kansas, but of course a law enforcement background helps as well! Take Care

I was at the show 1:00PM sharp. I didn't see even one Emerson custom inside the show. The customs all came out when Les & Jackstraw showed up. Jackstraw had almost everyone that Emerson makes. He was gracious enough to bring his collection to show us. Les had (2) CQC 6's, CQC8 & the CM-1.

It was great putting faces with the names. Great bunch of people.

I was there on friday and I spent more time outside the show than inside. The show was great but I had a better time handling the cqc6, cqc8 and the cm-1.

Siper 308

A 6 & 8 are still available contact me off line if your interested.

A guy walked up and sold me a CQC8, black blade with contoured handle. That was the only Custom Emerson that I heard of at the show it's self.

Getting kinda thin out there, must be time to raise the prices! <G>.

Rfrost, when I figure out the picture thing Ill post the CM-1.

Les, what was the condition of the black CQC8? Are there more of the black ones out there than the satin commander handled ones?

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason,

Im sure there are more out there, they just havent found their way to my hands...Yet!

This one also had the handle had some radius work done on it. The individual I got the knife from said Emerson told him something like only 16-18 had been done like this on a CQC-8.

This one if not mint, was at least 98%. Very nice.
