Friday Again

Got to come in late today. Still woke up at 4am. Got to sit around in my gay furry slippers and watch the toob and drink some java.

I'm working my butt off to get a longer than expected project finished. Then I'm going to start back on the big intergral and some more of the little "scrap usage" knives.

Seems wierd to even be at work . There's noone else here. Maybe I missed the memo.

Yeah Mark I gotta wonder - only people working around here are convenience store clerks. Rest of the state is home recuperating from their various overinduldgences yesterday...

For me, I'll be working a gun show the rest of the weekend. I get to deliver a knife today, which'll be nice. Then it's talk about knives for three days straight. I guess I could do worse. It's nice to have my project done so I don't have to feel like I'm abandoning anything important.

Not a holiday for me either. Wednesday just as I was leaving a large truck pulls in and to my supprise they unload about a thousand tomahawk heads that I didn't expect untill about mid December. With this many I have to work outside to get them ready for handles and we expect SNOW (a 4 letter word) by about noon :grumpy:
My Daughter in law will soon be happily in the Christmas sprite writing all those invoices

Well same story here no one moveing around town and oh darn the wife and daughters went to Billings to go christmas shopping so i am home alone all day. no one to bother me out in the shop. That means i am going to have to bond with the new hammer. I hate it when the family leaves me alone for 12 hours on a Friday

I'm sittin' here at work, and not happy about it. Today is the opening day of the south zone for ducks. Everyone is duck-hunting but me. :grumpy:

Gonna work on some blades this weekend and of course -- duck hunt.

I woke up this morning to a living room floor full of pi$$!!!!!!! grrr....
I have a chow that hates going out in the rain, and I can't remember if he went out at all yesterday!
bad dog or bad owner?
next time it rains he'll go out I tell ya!
cars in the shop so I'm pretty much stuck here all day
at least the beer store is within walking distance if nothing else comes up.

Finished the nine knives for the Chesapeake show. I need to make nine sheathes now I'm not that crazy about sheath work, it cramps my hands, all that hand sticthing. Tomorrow is opening day of firearms season here. I hope to get out, but the stinkin' hot water heater is leaking My plumber can't come out until Mon. or Tues. because, what else, he's going hunting Sat. He assured us it would be fine until then. Gotta move a bunch of crap in the basement so he can get to it. :grumpy:

Worked last night and slept till 3. When I woke up I had an idea for a handle but didn't have a blade to put it on ......so. Just finished forging it. Got to go re-stuff myself with leftovers, we left everything at my daughters house. Picts when I get it finished.
