Ahhh yes , here we are again.

After I sell my first sword to to the lead singer from Aerosmith for 1.2 million, I'm going to hopefully get some more mosaic billets made up this w/e.

Kinda anxious about opening the accordian cut without cracking it. We'll see ;)

What ya'll got going on ?
 
I'm gonna play with my new toys :D Got a welder and a milling machine to figure out. Gonna actually try to learn how to actually use them as opposed to my usual "figure out how to turn it on and GO!".
Also just finally got around to forging out my first solo piece of damascus that I made last year. It was so small by the time I got done with it that I couldn't think of what to make out of it. I think its going to be a fillet knife for my dad. May try to get it knocked out for Sunday...

After Being out of town in Flint Mish. I am going to shape 3 handles today! Yeah....Glad I got those suckers glued up before I left.
 
I am going to spend some well-earned time in the shop. Been on a honeymoon and I'm itching for some metal dust. :D

Heading up the road to Pine Mountain, GA on Saturday to watch a blacksmithing/ bladesmithing demonstration. I'm hoping to talk the bladesmith into talking me through forging one of my own. I'm still not happy with my results. After that, well continue making up the debt I owe my wife for going to the Blade Show less than 48 hours after the birth of our daughter.

Going to clean up the mess I made in the shop all week and get my boat registered. Fishing Sunday morning, then bbq and beers in the afternoon.
 
After sending the paycheck off to pay some bills, and keeping the rest for my gas guzzler, I am going to look at the lint in my pocket and come in for overtime on Saturday, and help my parents put a pool liner in that afternoon. Sunday, probably take my father to breakfast with the rest of his brood, and then help him out on his boat all day.
 
I'm working on three semi-skinner pocket hunters today, mail off a customer ordered knife and put more thought into an idea I have. I came up with an idea for another edged implement. It will be a pure hunting piece. I also have to find some time to cut the grass. :grumpy:

Well it is Fathers Day weekend so I guess Ill get to do almost whatever my heart desires. :-)

Round of golf tomorrow morning then finish making a Kennell for the new pup. I need to get another bench built for the shop. Lots of Heat Treating to do this weekend. Welcome back Michael. Hope the honeymoon was successfull.:-)

in 20-30 years if you don't play your cards right,, you'll be glad she doesn't have 20 fingers :eek: mine is doubling up on fingers now..it's sad that I don't like junk jewery :( sad indeed :( :)
 
hey how about a tuesday post? friday's the worst night of the week. :barf:
spend all night in a super hot kitchen, working side by side with my bi-polar boss.
well a nice bachelor party tomorrow anyway, big fishing trip. somethin different

hehe, i got em all fooled at work. My mind has clocked out an hour after I got to work. Kinda like vacation...even... awww.................:D :D :D
 
Got one glued up ready for handle finishing and I'm three Tactical Orange Peelers behind. :( Hoping to get the one finished tonight and get the TOPs glued up tomorrow to be finished on Sunday, then it's sheathmaking time for 5 knives altogether, so that's 5 hours right there. Time to get to work!!!
 
Well, after dragging my tired ass through this slimey workplace for 8.5 hours, I get the thrill of going home, getting into a friggin tuxedo and taking my Wife the the Army Ball tonight. :rolleyes: :barf: :(

Other than a good meal, and some really good Adam's Mark coffee, there's little to look forward to.
