Laphroaig 15:thumbup:

I'm drinking this for the first time and it is good but may not be my style, but it is good:cool:

I know what you mean.

It is a distinctive, strong taste (brine, heather, iodine?) and is definitely a fine single malt.

But not everybody likes that much seaside intensity.

I'll kick back some MacAllan 18 in your honor!

:grumpy:

Cup o'coffee only. Have to get up early to drive to Wilmington tomorrow.

Sunday night though,.... ;)

Only have to go to work the next day...LOL

I'm busting out the expensive stuff tonight, Jim Beam BLACK.

I love the mention of new, fine drinking materials. It gives me something to research while I drink my usual. Cockspur Rum or Bass Ale lately. I am still nursing some Black Label, and throw back a slug of Knob Creek now and then.
Tony, I think you and O.P. need me to come design Scotch cellars for you. I've done wine and whisky storage, but this could kick my portfolio into high-brow.:D :D ;)

You guys are making me thirsty.

Got a couple of options:

1. Good ole Jack and Coke with a wedge of Lemon

2. A little Dalwhinnie 15 year old single malt

3. A Vodka lime and 7

HMMM, decisions.

Kinda like Talisker, Jura and Lagavullin. You can taste the sea in them. Jura and Lagavullin are very strong n this way. The highland malts are softer and have no peatiness.

But I like them. In fact Jura, Talisker and Lagavullin are some of my favorites

I've been sipping on some 16 y.o. Aberlour...

Then switched to some 15 y.o. Balvenie Single Barrel. WOW!!
Both are great, but the Balvenie has a taste that stays with you...

Also eye-ballin' pics of the Smooth Coated NO-E on it's way from Snafu! :D :D

INFI and SIngle Malt. What could be better!!

What,no pig's nose?

Ever since Cobalt tried to poison me with tainted Pig's Nose at Blade ' 07, I just haven't been the same. . . . I felt like former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko ! ! ! ! ! . . . .

Now I'm just a little afraid of the "Nose". . . but I'll recover. . . . I just need to kill off a few more Dew Screws and I'll be ready to attack the "Nose" once again. . . .

Stay safe. . . .Don't put your drink down next to Cobalt. . . .

Fear the Pork Balt. . . .Fear him!!!!!
