Are the new ones really 1/4"? Mine is 3/8", so I'd imagine the new ones would be quite a bit faster in hand.

That one looks just like mine, same Kami as well. Whoever buys it will not be disappointed, very high quality work by Rajkumar on these newest Tarwars. The handle on mine is a perfect fit for my hands, with a great balance and very quick feel. Certainly a keeper.:thumbup:

Would be good if the spine width could be confirmed?

Todays example it appears (to my eyes) that the blade is more parallel than usual, it seems to have more like a Tibetan sword profile?

The recent Tarwar I received is a Yes. Confirmed 1/4" blade width. It very easily goes from a 2 handed sword to 1 handed just by choking up on the grip. Leaving the other hand free for a Khuk or Indo sword if need be.

Better look out zombies....
