Well after I get home from my milk shake party, I'm going to try my best to get some stuff done in the shop. Nothing better to do since we have this Nor-easter hanging around. I tried using my homemade power hammer the other day and had a failure. Back to the drawing board on that widowmaker :)

I get to help my lovely wife with a yard sale the rest of the w/e. I'm just so looking forward to that.

Seems like every Friday has been crappy weather. We're going to the other farm we hunt to try and poke a few groundhogs today. Working on the big camp knife today and hope to have the "Woodcraft/Razorback" hunting knife finished today. I hope to get some pics of it up later this afternoon. I trying to get everything squared away because I have a gunshow next w/e. Going to my mother-in-law house Sunday for Mother's Day. :rolleyes: I'm fond of her but some of the other in-laws irritate me. Happy Mother's Day to everyone's Mother. :)

I am going to get a little work done (as usual) but most of my weekend is full of family crap...Funny how that always slips in :D

I'd have some fun with the yard sale if I were you.....pretent your an auctioneer and make people bid on things even when they're the only one there :D
As for me, no horseshows this weekend. Gotta get to school and then work pretty soon which will pretty much kill today. Hopefully work on knives all day tommorrow, and sunday afternoon have mother's day stuff. Which reminds me I still don't have a card and stuff ready :eek:
 
I've got a bad feeling about this yard sale. Lot's of expensive womens shoes , purses and such. I think it will look like a flock of seagulls fighting over one fishgut :) Might have to play bouncer :)
 
Sunday is MOTHER'S DAY !! Mine is still hanging in there at 93! Give your mom a big hug .
 
Mark -- look at it this way -- after all the fun you will have at the garage sale you will forget all about the Doctor visit :D
Here in the north friday will be sunny but saturday rain and 25 mile winds :grumpy: 200 + garage sales in a local subburb and I haven't miss it in about 15 years -- OH WELL --
Not all is lost though as the near by motorcycle shop has their spring open house :D Lots of food so I am going to pig out.
This should be fun -- wall to wall bikers and red necks :eek: not like going to a "tea" at church :D
 
Got plenty of knifework to get done. Maybe drink a few adult beverages, but not sure. The girlfriend is away for the weekend so it's nothing but grinding, hammering and hanging out with the ol' shopdog. Gonna drive down and do a little turkey hunting sunday morning and spend some time with my mother too.

Quit running those damn creatures over to me! I've gone through about two boxes of cb caps in the past six months! ;) . If I wasn't having so much fun....

I was gonna take my little brother up in the mountains tomorrow, but now it looks like I'll be riding with my parents and my aunt and uncle to see my grandmother in the hospital.
 
Knives and Garden work for me. Got the Tomatoes planted last night. I need to do a little gift shopping inbetween or one of the knives might get used on me :-)

Wraping a few handles and a few sheaths. Might fire up the forge just because! ;)
 
Trying to make up 3 tests that I put off. will heat treat 5 blades sat. ride the hog (80 degree weather makes this a must). Try out a new pistol(colt huntsman in 98% blueing)ride the harley somemore with my daughter. OH did I mention that I'm 2 weeks behind in home work and tests. blade show comming and I just found out that I will be a judge for factory knives. I love all this BS. Keeps me crazy. be safe. :cool:
 
Yesterday, mowed the lawn and then went out and picked exactly 2 pounds of morel mushrooms. My feet and back told me I walked 20 miles, all uphill. Today, took wife on a small town citywide yardsale juant and then came home to play with the few tools I bought. Tomorrow afternoon is shop time after wife and mother's Mother's Day stuff.
