it's Friday night, what's going on for the weekend!

I jsut got in a few minutes ago from grinding Damascus Mini'dashis... cleaned up and it's time to relax! I'm working on knives this weekend and planning on snowboarding Monday... we are supposed to get 6-8" Sunday night.

Time for some Evan Williams in a minute... :D

I just cured and smoked more Canadian Bacon but am running low on Hot Sauce, I might start some this weekend. Maybe some kim-chi too, I'm obsessed with making cured, smoked or fermented stuff...

It might be time to revive some old threads or even better get some new ones going... any ideas? maybe time for another recipe thread.

Anything you guys want to see here on the forum? New models, lottos, raffles, more sign ups? I'm planning on doing more this year to keep it fun here and need the feedback. :D

Snow starting Friday night, rain/snow mix, freezing rain turning into rain later in the day on Saturday.

Soooo.......not much else, just holed up in the house.
 
I hear that. Snow just started up again. Trucks filled up with gas, so if I gotta go somewhere I should be good.

Been stocking the basement for awhile now. Grabbing a little extra each trip to the store. Actually have a decent selection should we not be able to make it out after one of these storms.

Spring cannot come soon enough, I swear.

D you ever order supplies from Phoenix Abrasives? Guy from Facebook emailed me an stock document. His prices arn't half bad!

Got my shipment in from AKS the other day. 2 day shipping. For knifemaking, and to me, that kinda turnaround time on an order is unheard of. I think I may be using them from now on.

Bobby I have not ordered from them, I like to buy my belts from Pops Knife Supply or Tru-Grit. Supergrit for sandpaper. lol I just dropped $100 on sandpaper.

Pops and Tru-Grit have both gone out of their way to help me... good people and good companies.

AKS rocks, I am on their mailing list... they got in new pivots today! That's where my Zirconium is coming from... should be here today along with my G-Flex.

lmam Rolf, maybe not! I just came in from doing snow removal and we have gotten 20" since last night! :eek:
