I just got home from my favorite micro-brewery after showing my friends the new Punkin Warden. Now I'm sippin' an Ommegang Abbey Ale. If it weren't for the fact that I had to visit my mother in the hospital after they cut off her leg below the knee it would be a great evening. What the hell are we going to do with all of those left shoes?
 
Thats terrible about her leg, possibly there are some others with the opposite problem with the right leg. Perhaps a swap is in order? Seriously though I hope everything goes well with your mother.

I'm sorry to hear this, mhawg. Mothers are special, and I know it hurts you to have to see this happen to yours. A few years back, my mom nearly died from heart trouble, and it was tough seeing her hooked up to all those tubes and machines. Wishing your mom the best of recoveries.

Guys, thanks for all of the good wishes for my mother and you are right, it is tough to see your loved ones in this very fragile state but I trust in God to maintain her strength through this trial. Now back to the knives and drinking.

After running a couple of miles, I couldn't leave it at knives and drinking. I needed to offset the healthy effects of exercise with some cholesterol. Here's a crappy, drunken picture.

I’m new to knives of this quality and heft but definitely fondling. I got these in to day and am amazed.

Having never seen a Busse knife the enthusiasm was odd and not really understandable. When I opened the box I just grinned and every time I pick them up I just laugh cause they’re amazing. I wanted a thick blade but really had no idea what I was getting into.

So now I keep saying- I’m not a collector and these compliment each other. I like the satin blades.

Sorry to hear about your mom mhawg. Hope her recovery goes well.

I am just a simple beer drinkin' HOG. I just hope I can do one of these pics with a Pumpkin ASH1 some day;)
