...Yes fellas...I'm werkin' on passing a kidney stone as I type this...This is the last of two (2) stones that were found by CatScan in the ER in Bayonet Point Regional Medical Center last Sunday...You haven't experienced childbirth yet ???...Just pass a kidney stone to get THAT experience under yer belt...UUHHGGG...By the way...did I mention that I think I might have found one of Daves ol' expired drivers licenses???...He was quite a swash-buckler it seems...LMAO...OUCH!! ...

Oh sorry to hear that Darryls,

I had to give birth to a large kidney stone last year.....it sucks. But, Doc i'm sure you got the good stuff......so feeling less pain....I hope. Darryls.....as your forum Buck brother I feel it's my duty to perscribe that you find and buy five new Buck knives before the end of the month. This will help you to pass the stone.....and as it's been perscribed to you must follow these orders :) .

...Well Dr. John...I've submitted the "prescription" to the head of the pharmacy in this region ( Mrs. DarrylS ) and she laughed and got into her car and drove away. Either she's gonna go and start to fill the "precription" with the meds as you've suggested ( I hope, I hope, I hope ) ...or she's going to visit one of our kids and discuss what a buncha "BuckNut" cases I associate with...LMBO...EWWW... ( that smarted ) ...
 
Ouch! Kidney stones are one of the worst, but at least you know that it will stop hurting (one way or another) at some point.

I hope it passes soon with no complications!

To all who have not had the experience . . . this is yet another reason why you should drink a LOT of water ... plain water ... every single day.

Earl...It's hard to believe but there are times the thought of that 106 doing it's "job" seems pretty attractive the last few days...uuggghhh...
 
You've got my deepest sympathy, there is nothing so painful as passing a stone, the pain meds will help.

I once started passing a stone in a hotel in Taiwan:eek: , when I phoned down to the desk for a doctor, the consierge came up and gave me some hydrocodone:D and recommended against me going to a hospital over there.:confused:

It was a long night but with the meds, I made it peed the stone out(never found it) and saw a doctor state side when I got back.

...I was doing the hydrocodone with the first stone earlier this week and it just didn't work worth a damn...I now have 30 morphine tabs that the doctor wrote up for me...wife's going to get 'em as we speak...I'd rather a root canal...
 
wow man i feel for you an a stone, i watched a man i woudl have said "please dont hit me mister" to bent over dubble in a horific pained expresion on his face, helpless and damm glad i did not have a grudge on him... i shared some of my meds with himtell he got to the hosp... hell he almost went to sleep!

no one here drinks any thing made in the usa out'a clear bottle with a small cap and a lable on it ....
now i have disscher chear jar wit some stuff you could put in a zipo and it will work that heps me to sleep i can send ya,,,

should disolve dem damm stones or make ya not care and takes a shut eye for a bit ...

I was waiting for someone to bring us back to Buck stuff in this post! :D Thanks EEE. :thumbup: I'm sure that 106 would do the trick. In the mean time Darryl, make sure you drink lots of H2O.
 
...LOL...Mike that 106 is lookin' better and better to me right now...Actually a 119 or better yet a 120 might be more inline with what needs to be done to make me feel like I'm not in a maternity ward...LOL...Dave...send it on over...I'll pay the shipping...after the 120 does it's job I'll need some "sedative" to get me back to sleep anyway...LOL...By the way...I've been seein' far too many fixed blades lately and they are beginning to pop up in my searches as I browse through Ebay...sigh...I'm close to giving in...

...Seems to me you guys are getting far too willing to "help" me out in my hour of need...LMBO...Woulda been nice if someone had started out with a nice Buck 55 or somethin'...here ya are already up to the 901...Makes a guy feel so good with buddies like you ready to lend a helping "SCIMITAR"...WHOOOAA...LOL...

lol well theres only so much we can do for you but when it comes to bucks (knives) theres practically no limit :D
ps i do feel for you and i think i would take dave up on his offer even if it did cause permanent damage;)

...Yep...I already alerted Dave to the fact that I'm awaiting the delivery of his medicinal elixr...I'm sure the "damage" won't even be noticed by me after one or 2 doses of the "tonic"...LOL...
 
Well darn, I had to run some errands and come back to Darryl in pain:grumpy:. I hope that you got your meds and and are in never-neverland now and when you come back to earth that everything has come out well;) :p ;). I hope that I never have that experience... I have a duplex kidney ( so thats 2 on my right side and 1 on my left) The Double one produces one stone per month since I was about 14 (I am now 37)

Some times I can feel them but they are more uncomfortable than anything else... but when they are bigger than a grain of salt the pain is Horrendous. Some docs put it on the pain scale much higher than childbirth in the UK.

Then the fun part.... pissing snot for 2 days afterwards... yummmy

:) ...My new meds are kickin' in and I feel pretty good right now...The first one that passed on Tuesday was 4.5mm...the one pushin' it's way down now is at 5mm...Just can't wait...:eek: :eek: :confused: :cool: ...rather talk Buck than "snot"...EWWWWW...:p

Don't guess muratic acid would be good either...:o

Sorry you are in pain Bud,,, Was going to suggest blowing it out with the air compressor, but maybe the shop vac would work better.:rolleyes: :rolleyes:
