It's been a while since we had a Friday Post.

I've been busy as a one-armed paper hanger.
We still have a few boxes that need to be unpacked. I dont know where all this crap came from :)

Hope to get the mast put up on the barn for the power drop this w/e. The power company is pretty cool around here. They have no inspections for power provided to barns or garages :D Hope 200 amps will suffice.

After we get power , we will be leveling the floor of the barn and doing a little bit of weather proofing.

Sometime during all this work , I hope to get in some trout fishing and some hunting.

Great to see you back posting the Friday thread.....

Making knives for the Plaza invitational show in a few weeks.
Im working 18 hrs. a day.
 
might be looking at a new home and get this it has a 5 car shop and all kinds of power run to it :D
other then that fixing the computer and tring to get some more knives finished up so i can start some more stuff
oo and most likly have a bonfire the weather is just right for it
 
Going to see some garden tractor races this afternoon....then I'm working one of the gates at the Durham fair most of the weekend. I also see a few beers in my future!:D

I plan on screwing off and resting all weekend. I'm just finishing up twelve days straight at work including a six day out of state trade show and I'm beat! I might play in the shop a little, but this weekend will be focused on rest and relaxation.

Good to see you back in the Friday swing Mark.
 
doing some sheath work this morning and heading back home this afternoon from the new home away from home :thumbup: then catching up on more backed up work this week-end:)
 
Temps are suppose to be in the high 60s low 70s.....perfect shop weather....14 going to heat treater....5 left from last batch....Light at the end of tunnel getting brighter...

Today...knocking off early & hoppin on the Hog and heading to the hills........"No Mark im not ridin that far today.....but soon":p
 
Today im picking up a nice 200 pound anvil that i just bought...woohoo! I may get some shop time tonight.

Tomorrow i have plans with the GF to go shopping and see a movie and generall fart around.

I am just getting back in the swing of things having completed my new shop in the new house last weekend. ive been itching to generate some sparks all week! Cant wait to get back into things and start making knives again. Im even more excited to get forging! I have about 100 pounds of 1084 from Mace to work through, so that should get me started!

I have my new forge from Darren sort of running now, so I'll be finishing up the interior coating this weekend. Maybe I'll work on finishing up a couple of blades as well. First thing's first though, I've got to fix an exhaust leak on my commuter car...Oh, and maybe a trip to harbor freight!

Can you tell my wife is out of town?

I'm ain't doing jack this weekend. I don't want to even look at a knife. I'm going to watch some football, check out NASCAR, and cool it.

I wish I could join you. My Indian is great on back roads, but better going down the hills. My HD I would blow your doors off. HEHEHEHEHE!!!!!:D
 
Spent the last tow weeks remodeling the kitchen. AARRGGHHH!!! Going back to work this weekend. It's sad when you have to go back to work to catch a break. Kitchen turned out great though. Have a great weekend guys! -Matt-
 
I'll be working on a few blades today,one bowie for my friend who does tattoos (bartering is cool) Other than that it's the last weekend of the renaissance fair by me so I'll be wrapping that up.I have to try to get some video while i'm throwing hawks for the last time in a while.

Joe!!! You have Tattoos too????:confused: :confused: How many??? I only have 14. Long face and nose with tattoos??? :eek: :eek: OH!!! My god!!!! HEHEHEHEHE!!!!
I think I may have been in Brooklyn in the 70's.:eek:
 
Got the drywall hung in my new shop yesterday. I plan on working on it a little tomorrow, then off to the beach for 5 days to relax and have some drinks.
