Half day at work , then off till after the New year. :D

Well ... I am admiring the 3 knives I glued up last night and wishing that they were done! I'll clean up the scales in the morning so I can shape them Monday Morning...............oh..MERRY CHRISTMAS OLD MAN!
 
Mark, hope you get your Christmas present in Washington! Parties all day today at work, although they're a lot different than the parties held back in the 70's at this place, some children were conceived during the Christmas/Hanukah parties back then. After today, a stop at the liquor store, and Wegmans (12pks of diet Sprite, 5 for ten bucks!) and then out to a party with friends. After that, tomorrow, I'm going to stay as far away from all retail establishments as I can.

After my last round of frenzied knife orders, my shop was a real sty. I took the last two days to clean my shop and the garage and do some Christmas shopping. Today, I need to work on a custom for Jan 5th deadline.
 
got a full day of work, then driving around Missouri all weekend for various Christmas stuff -- then back to work on Tuesday! :(

Beginning the wrapping/ assembly process. I have it easy this year, just have to put together a bike and a desk. Probably no knife stuff until a couple days after Christmas. I'm supposed to meet up with ABS Mastersmith Charles Ochs at his place. We'll be visiting family in the area, and I've talked him into letting me come by and possibly ruin some steel.

stayin in town for Christmas for the first time in quite a while. between now and then got a wee bit of shopping....:o then just chillin with the fam until thursday when we'll head up to Aiken to visit the extended family. Merry Christmas ya'll and i hope ya'll have a great one!

I finally repaired my skidoo during my 1/2 day of work this morning, then played santa to the folks that let me deer hunt at their farm and then out for lunch with a hunting buddy. Now it's family and food till monday and then hopefully fire up the forge.Merry Christmas guy's and have a safe and fun filled holiday.

I almost missed this...
It's 10:04 here, so it's still technically Friday.
I just finished diff. HT- thanks to all the guys who gave me info and their steps to doing it. It's not been in the vinegar for more than 10 minutes, but right after the first quench, it was obvious that the hammon was there. I'll have the handle finished tomorrow!

First knife! WOOHOO!
