Think I'll do a much needed cleaning out in the shop. That will probably take all w/e for me. :D

What you guys doing this w/e?

Start assembly on my propane forge. The shell is 2 freon tanks joined end to end and will have two 3/4" sidearm burners.
Mike

I'm going to have to do some work for my actual paying job today, then I'm going out to HF to get a sandblast cabinet. Tomorrow I'll see about getting an air compressor, then do some practice Gun Kote runs. We'll see what develops from there.

Well today I hafta go to school again, be a good chance to catch up on some sleep. That will take about 2 1/2 hours, then I'm gonna disappear in my shop for the rest of the day and put the new grinder to work.
I might also run out to columbus builders supply after school and get the rest of the firebricks I need for the top of my new work bench/welding table. I've about got it done. I just need to weld up the plates for my benchgrinders to sit in on the corners of it and hunt up some wheels so I can move it around the shop as needed. Then I'll probably do some shop tour pics :)
Saturday were celebrating my grandpa's birthday, so after work I'm running out there with the family to fix a few things in their house and then take them out to dinner.
Then sunday will be the usual stall cleaning. Then shop time and I'll probably shoot my new bow till my arm feels like its gonna fall off (bout 4 times ;) )
Have a good one everybody

I'm going to clean and photo a skinner I just finished for the Lewisburg, PA show this weekend. I only have four knives for the show so I'll be more of a social thing (a bunch of great guys there) but, that's cool. I don't get out enough.
:D

Got it, edited to add picture.

Hope to get some more grinding in. Have to make a sheath for a knife I did a rehandle job on. Put the scales on the KITH knife. Have a good weekend everyone. ;)
Scott

Finish up the KITH knife (I sold the one I had done early).

I've got a couple of blades profiled that I may get ground this weekend.

Just got leather in from Tandy. I usually buy elsewhere, but they have 8-9 oz double shoulders on sale until the end of Feb. I might do a littlew sheath work, too.

Look for pruno and drunk convicts until 3 and then go to NW Casting to pick up the bronze butt plate and forearm cap they cast for the battleaxe gun.

Back On topic
taking the youngist to his DEEP program today ,, little %&*$@! bone head  :(
kids shouldn't be alowed to drive until they are 25 or 40 :)

DEEP?!? What the heck is that...aside from something I'll probably have to look forward to in the future.

I hope to finish the sheath for my second knife. That will be fun :D landscaping season starts back up so I'll be mowing too. Then if there is time, I'm going to work on a friends b-day present. It's a gun belt, almost exactly like this:
1tvpsk

I'll be putting a piece of spring steel in between the layers where he wants his holster to go. This will help prevent the belt from rolling over with a heavy holster. He likes tough stuff, so the leather is about 16 oz stirrup strap leather  . that stuff is pricey!

I have to go and visit the in-laws :grumpy: :barf: On Sat. I am going to spend the day in the shop finishing up a b-day present for a friend.

Mark, Thanks for letting me know its Friday...... The plan for the day is to dig up a tree and transplant it before I get lost in the shop. If I wait another year on the tree it will be to big to move plus I'll be in the dog house for another year. Bad thing about being in the dog house is after so many years you just kind of get used to it......

it's a $275.00 program that (Caught) DUI drivers In Maine have to take
Then you have the $500.00 Fine with 3 day's in jail,
then the 150.00 fine for the transportation of alcohol by a minor.
then comes the insurance of over $1800.00 a year,
needless to say he can't afford to drive now..
COOL,, another know it all off the road..

I'm Planning on spending all day Saturday at the local gun and knife show, drooling over guns and, more importantly, trying to make contact with some local knifemakers in the hopes of gleaning some knowledge about hidden and stub tangs and guards etc. The only one I have tried is still it the shop half done because it was getting uglier by the second.
Have a good weekend all!
