Got this knife today. It is one of the 1 x 2 threeliner which were
described a few weeks ago here. But what's about the sheat?
No Name on the front, the turnable belt loop, is this sheath the
original one to this knife?

Best,
Haebbie

i think that is the original sheath. my old man has a buck 119 just like that. its a real piece of work.

I've heard of swivels on the 1981 120s but not on the 119s.

I suppose there's always a few of anything out there.......Buck is tricky that way.

:D

... Buck is tricky that way ...
If Buck always makes the same, there would be nothing to collect ;).

Thank you, guys, for the kind answers.

Nice knife Haebbie!

That is one I wanted to find since a long time.
Comes time, comes knife ;) :)

Haebbie

P.S.: Does anybody know in which time frame Buck delivered the 119 with these sheaths?

I think we talked about the 119 sheaths a while back. The swing sheath was mentioned. Nice looking knife, Haebbie!!!

Yes, that is the correct sheath for that knife as both match for 82 mfg. date. The knife could have been mfg. in late 81 and the sheath 82 but I call it close. As close as our records get. Nice photo. DM

humm i though the swivel sheath was gone by the late 70's?
any way nice catch on that 119!!!

Hi Haebbie -

Great knife!

Thanks for the pictures - it looks like it is mint!

best regards -

Well, that date was in my notes from Joe's seminar on the 100 series at the 20yr. Reunion. Perhaps, I wrote down the wrong year. DM
