Hi Guys,

I am looking for a set of hunting knives to butcher game.

For you guys who have owned both FRIEDRICH DICK PLASTIC HANDLED KNIVES & DEXTER SANI-SAFE KNIVES, can you tell which is your favorite and why they are your favorite?

Thanks,

Geoff

I still have a selection of F. Dick blue plastic handled knives from my days of owning a Wholesale fish company and seafood restaurant. They still do a lot of work, both on fish and on deer and hogs. I can't seem to wear them out.

I have a Dexter boning knife that works well. Holds a decent edge and is easy to sharpen. I'd recommend it .

Can't comment on the Dick as I've never had one in my hand. Other than.. well you know.

Now a real reply....I have used both in the slaughterhouse and the f dick has the most comfortable ergonomic handle in any commercial knife i have seen.
Steel is probably close to par on both....get the dick!
