Friend removal

Are there any known issues with removing/denying a friend request? It seems as though you cannot reject friend requests, or remove friends from your list.

"Breaking a friendship can be done in three ways.
•From your 'Contacts and Friends' page, uncheck the box for friend for the particular person and save the changes. If you no longer wish them to be a contact either, uncheck both boxes for that person.
•In your 'Profile Page', click 'Friends' and then click 'Break Friendship' next to the user's name.
•In the other person's profile, click 'Friends' then find your username and click 'Break Friendship'."

I'm referring to friend requests awaiting approval or denial.
"Reject checked friend requests" simply does not save.
Following the first suggestion you gave yields similar results, it simply does not save.

When you get a friend request, there is a small box to check on the person's box on the left.
If you don't check that, the software doesn't recognize who you want to accept or deny.
