Friends and family comments on your Busse.

Here's a few comments from my friends and family on first seeing my FFBM.
Thought you guys might get a kick out of them.

Randy ... "That looks like a manufactured knife"
Marvin... "That's a big heavy SOB"
Alex... "Damn, that thing's big"
Garry... "That's a big ass butcher knife" :)
JR... "That's a cool looking knife, brother"
Keith... "That's a monster; why is the blade so thick"
Amy... "That's a bad looking knife"
Michelle... "What did you want that for"
Girlfriend..."That thing scares me; keep it away from me" "All it looks good for is to kill somebody" "Keep it away from my babies" (Maltese dogs) :D

Heck, I only have this one Busse in my collection but plan on getting more. :thumbup:
Would hate to see the reaction of my friends and family to the collections some of you guys have. :)
Anyone else have any fun comments to share on your family, friends, or strangers reaction to first seeing your Busse knives ?

Most of my friends and family just smile politely and slowly back out of the shop.... :o
 
My dad commenting on my FFBM:

"This thing is really sharp, you could take someone's head off!"
 
Interesting... The reactions I get from friends and family are more like "Ooh! I want one!" and "Where can I get one?" and "How much for one of those?"

Sorry brother, but dump girlfriend and ask AMY out. Looks like she could handle your habit.
 
I think the one I get the most is-

you paid how much!!??!?!?!?!?

They just do not understand;)
 
Everyone loves them :p My cousin ended up hounding me for a Busse and two Scrap Yards after seeing/using my knives.
 
My freinds and family say the the same thing....

I get very postive comments. The only negative one is from my wife....see just asks WHY?? and how can you spend so much money on that?? Maybe one day she'll understand the INFI addiction!!

2) You paid how much?! Isn`t there some kinda employee discount?
(That WAS with a discount)
 
Mine do not understand. "What do you need that for??" - but then they say the same things about my guns .............

I do not show them to many.

However my nephews think the Busses are very cool :)
 
of the FBM LE "That is an impressive knife. You should really hang it on the wall."
Mostly I ge this reaction. "Another knife? What did that one cost?"
 
Most of my family just says "hey you got another knife......good for you!"

Funny thing is my dad started off saying "why do you need that?" Now he spends more money at knife shows than I do. He asks more and more about steel and companys and he might be getting a sharpmaker here in the near future so I dont have to do it anymore.
 
Ahh--after the stupid Buck comment Friday, all I get now is blessed silence!! :D

My wife and kids have defaulted to this one:

Question: Why do you need to carry that?
Answer #1: Because I'm not really Wolverine.
Answer #2: Why don't I need to carry it?

Question: Are you going to kill someone with that?
Answer: You don't need a knife for that, but no, that's not my plan.

For the most part I just get this :rolleyes: most of the time.:D
 
Most of them revolve around the "F" word in both positive and occasionally negative ways...
