I did a little touch up on my Journeyman last night (first time on the Emerson). I noticed that when I tested it's sharpness by slicing paper that the blade needs to be at a pretty specific angle in order for it to slice. When it is at that angle it make quick work of paper. I'm wondering if I screwed up the angle when sharpening it and that is why it needs to be at a specific angle to slice. Am I over analyzing?

check out E's website for instructions. The chisel grind is different than a conventional v-grind. I love Emerson knives, everything but the unconventional grind. Have a good rest of the day.
