FRN Flat Ground Endura and Delica

I believe Sal has stated that they will be VG-10 and all the present construction of the D4 and E4 will be the same. The only difference will be the grind (FFG) and the handle colors (there will be 5 different colors to choose from).

I also grilled Sal about a release date and he guesses an early 2010 release.

Hope that helps. :thumbup:

I remember being polled on the colors and it seems that 5 were selected. Sal, do you want to tell us the color selection or do we have to wait for Christmas? :D

These will be available in 5 colors? Wow! :thumbup:
One should be black, I wonder about the others. Anyone know the poll results?

I hope one is a nice green so my girlfriend will leave me alone about a green knife.
:foot::D

There's green and then there's GREEN! :eek:

I'm hoping to see some orange scales, definitely picking up one of each if that happens.

I love the look of the FFG. It adds a lot to a knife's look, giving it cleaner lines, a purposeful look, and makes for a great performing blade.

The other knifemakers are not offering very many flat grinds. Is it because of the additional time and wear and tear on the grinding equipment? It's been proven that people will pay more for them, so I think Spyderco is going to be leading the rest of the industry in their offerings of FFG.

I won't buy any more knives without it.

With 5 colors to choose from I'd bet a lot of money that one of the options will be orange. I would still like to see red/maroon, gray, cobalt blue, coyote brown, or toxic green.

Hope these are mostly new colors and not just british racing green, black, white, foliage green, light blue and dark blue.

Early 2010 huh? Hmmm, I have a birthday in january, sounds like maybe an awsome late birthday present....or two....maybe three :D.
