How do FRN handles hold up? They any good? I got a knife coming in the mail with FRN handles and i never had 1 b4.

I'd suggest that you ask this in the Spyderco area or the general area. There's not that many traditional patterns that use FRN. You' re likely to get better information there.

it's a pretty tough plastic, for handles is fine

the feel is not the best or like micarta/g10 but for a cutting knife with a 3" blade or so it's fine
my Tk4 in frn is holding up fine in edc use

It's not as "sought after" as G10 or Micarta but it works really well when the texturing is done right.

Don't confuse Spyderco's FRN with other manufacturers. Spyderco use more glass than other manufacturers and it shows. FRN is very tough stuff.

i dropped my delica on some really tough pavement and it left a small dent in it. but i kinda just scratched away at the plastic sticking up from the impact and it seems to look just fine. it seems to be extremely durable for what it is. a hell of a lot better than 'normal' plastics as its a polymer...

A well designed FRN handle will hold up for years of heavy use. I have any number of knives with FRN handles from a number of manufacturers. Only one is unsatisfactory. In that particular case, the designer did not make the handle thick enough and it deforms when squeezed. All my others are extremely robust and have given good service.
