frn spyderco clips

for some frn spydercos, such as the native or h1's, the clip is screwed into a recessed square notch. I caught the clip of my native on something once while i was moving briskly, and instead of any damage done to the clip, the clip wallered the recess in the plastic so it would never again snug up securely. The added lateral movement I believe kept backing out the screw holding the clip on. Walmart replaced, no worries, just wondered if anyone had any ideas on possible fixes. BTW, not afraid to just epoxy it on if i have to, just thought might be an interesting mod for for the frn's
