Got this one as well... very comfortable handle, smooth action, and it CUTS! It's a cutting machine! It'll end up in my M65 jacket as an "all-round afternoon walk EDC" :D

The Stretch is now my favorite EDC folder. Although sometimes I carry my RAT Cutlery Izula instead. The Stretch is very comfortable, has a great blade, and is nice and light.

Great pictures. Thanks for reminding me that I need an FRN Stretch. :D

You really really needs one :D dont's forgets :p

I find this knife is a natural, its all a fella really needs.

It's nice to see the Stretch FRN in police duty.

It's an amazing all-around knife and does have certain "tactical" aspects that can be appreciated. When the rest of the non-informed knife people figure out it exists, watch out all other brands :)

Gotta love the FFG slicer. The Stretch has changed a few aspects of the Endura by giving it a wider handle and slightly smaller, less "pointy" blade shape.

It is up there with the Sage in the nearly perfect EDC category.

I just got my Stretch FRN ZDP (I've had the Stretch CF for a while) and it truly is a great knife. The price to performance ratio is unreal, and I actually prefer the slightly thicker handle of the FRN version over the CF's thinner handle. The complete package of light weight, great ergos, great blade geometry and excellent price make the FRN Stretch among the best values, if not the best value in high performance knives out there.

I'm in total agreement Mike! I prefer my frn Stretch over the CF model for the same reasons.

So, Mike, which do you prefer, other than from a value perspective? I think Spyderco gen 4 FRN is under-appreciated and under-rated in many ways, but the peel-ply carbon fiber has really grown on me.

great pics! your pics always make me drool over something, and spyderco needs to adopt your bead blasted clips!

I'd have to say the FRN Stretch is my favorite, but by a slim margin. I like it's thicker handles better, but the CF has a warmer feel to it. I'm all about function and the both function identically, but the FRN version does it with more hand filling handles and lighter weight. Maybe the CF version would wow the uppity types more, but the Gen 4 FRN is very grippy and lightweight, I really like it. The is something to be said for how thin the CF version is and how little it prints, but I still would have to choose my $105 Stretch FRN ZDP as a close winner over the more expensive (though I got mine for a GREAT price used from a friend) Stretch CF model. As a sign of respect I am carrying both right now, 1 in each front pocket (along with 3 other knives) so I can get a good perspective on carrying and using each and how they compare. Both are great knives.
