If I go for production knives I usually go Benchmade but I just picked up a FRN Stretch and This knife may just have changed my mind. Really a nice knife.
Never been a fan of lock backs But this one locks up tight.

Glade you like it!

I love mine, perfect TIP DOWN edc for the office. I just wish that (a) Sal's mark was on it, (b) it were a tad thinner, (c) the ZDP-189 version gets here ASAP!

I can't wait for the ZDP model so it can take it's proper place in one of my pockets. I love my Stretch CF, but the value of the FRN models is just outstanding.

Sal Glad to see you like your own knife :) Problem now is what to get next. Got a Military that I just have never been able to warm up to. Dont know why. Sits a little to high in the pocket and I guess the handle to blade ratio. A little afraid of breaking the tip also.
One of the first good blades I bought was a Police about 20 years ago.
This Stretch is so sweet it hasnt left my pocket all week and that is saying something as I have well over 200 knives and at least 75 are customs.
Now what cant I live without?

what makes the stretch better than the others? is it the shape or balance?

Dont own a Delica or Endura so cant speak to them. But I love the blade shape weight and size of the stretch. Just something about it that feels right.

Handle shape is perfect for me, comfortable to hold and it put my hand in just the right position. Spyderhole size and location make for easy and totally reliable opening. Blade is narrow enough to allow fairly tight radius cuts, has enough point to penetrate well, and has what I consider an excellent balance of straight and curved edge. It's the knife I'd recommend, without reservation, for EDC to anyone living in an area where 3.5" locking folders are legal carry.
