A civilian version of the knife designed by Matt Leathers, rest in peace, Navy Seal will be presented at SHOT this January (per BCCI December 2014 newsletter). Thank you kindly CJ Buck and Matt Leathers.
Four inch blade. It will carry a new name: Frog Forged. Buck will pay a royalty payment to Matt's foundation dedicated to enabling Navy Seals to have the best gear available.
I look forward to seeing this knife next year and cheer this effort. Bravo!
Thank you for your service.

A bronze statue of Matt Leathers on display at SEAL Team Command at Pearl Harbor, by Jim Thompson who said, "Matt was a master artisan and loved to make knives from scratch. I created a bronze of Matt "hammering out a knife blade on one of his homemade anvils."
