My Hanuman doesn't have a frog - I noticed from pix that Ganggaola also won't have frog - how to carry them?

BTW - what's the function of the sash strap on the scabbard?
 
Mornin' Mohod! Well they say that you simply tuck it into your sash (or belt) and that the little buttons help keep it there.

Scabbards with many tools are replicas of old designs when khukuris were carried in the sash rather than on belts. I suppose we could outfit them with the HI superfrog but that would not be true to the original configuration.
