Frog tie down

Here is an idea. ---A 2nd frog lower down on the scabbard used as a tie down to keep the rig secure from swinging. Could be smaller or not as wide as the regular belt loop frog, and adjustable.

Not a bad idea. Even if the sarkis put just a small leather loop on the back that one could then use with a leather thong would be good.

Harry--- Thats a darn good idea. It's good to have it done in Nepal being blessed and all. By the way, the khukuris H.I. is coming out with by way of Pala and of course Bill and Yangdu are gems. If I had the $$$, I would go for many more. The Bowie is excellant. I want one , and I want many just for the love of these pieces of art and tools.

I am thinking of a loop maybe a half inch wide just big enough for a thong or cord to be threaded through it, sewn into the seam on the back of the scabbard. If this idea is acceptable then the sarkis and I will work out the details when I'm in the shop and this will become a standard HI scabbard addition.
