Hello. Well, I traded my 3.5" full Ti frag with some custom items for a Omega SMP Bond and I love this timepiece.

I started missing my hinderer like no ones business, but thought.. Summertime, shorts, heavy knife, shorts fall down. So I picked up a NIB 3" slicer flipper that should have been here today but is stuck in Denver. Should be here tomorrow, I'm excited!! Hope the 3" will take care of me for EDC.

I love my 3" especially in shorts weather. Enjoy your watch and inbound
3".
Post some pics, we have a timepiece thread as we'll.

I will make sure to do so.

One thing I've noticed, is there isn't much accessories available for the 3" like the 3.5". :( I got a skull filler tab on the way from RHK direct, but still want my blue Standoffs, and frag scale, or even Smooth cf.

Do you know if the new armorers tool from RHK direct has the logo on it?

All of those have been available for the 3" as well.

It should, unless Rob is too swamped to get them all before they leave Ohio but more than likely it will.

the omega is awesome i have the one i bought when i was done with under grad in 2003. i considered getting a new watch when i got my mba last year. however i really couldnt fine anything better. i thought of a presidential but wasnt a fan of yellow gold. i know with time white gold needs to be redone. i wasnt about to spend the amount for platinum so i am stick with the seamaster, for the knife i am sure it will be fine, i use a gen 3 delica.

It's here!!!! I love it, the size is perfect.

It's clipped into my shorts right now. It was the persons before safe queen. Now it's my back pocket queen. :)

Is the clip supposed to stick out this much? I don't remember it like this on my 3.5".

Color okay? Again, I hate to compare to my 3.5, which had XHP by the way.. (This having 20cv).

My 3" is 20cv and matches your second photo - there is slight bronzy color to the inside of the jimping of the blade (that is normal). Mine is not a flipper, so it does not match your first photo. Bottom line, I think your 3" is perfectly fine. I love mine; it is my favorite.

Thank you good sir. Well if everything checks out with you all, I know in in good hands then.

I am really enjoying the size and weight. A 3.5 will be had down the road again, but I think this one is perfect for me.

I have a 3.5 and a 4 and would love a 3 for EDC. I had the Omega Seamaster Bond and it is indeed a great watch. I gave it to my oldest son when he graduated from College. My younger son got my Omega moon watch. I think Omegas are a vey good value. It is always interesting to see how many share my obsession with good knives and watches, and even flashlights!

That is funny...I just sold off my 3.5" XM (I still have my 3" for summer EDC) and put the $$ toward a new Omega PO 8500 with the ceramic bezel. I am really loving the watch so far:)

Looks normal, but these are bent by hand I believe, there can be some variation. Don't like it, flatten it some to your liking.

The color is a remnant from the heat treat, see the first FAQ in the "Generation" sticky thread.

Nice trade off for your 3.5. Love your Omega.

I too had to recently sell my 3.5....but not to acquire a nice timepiece, instead to help with a big check that had to be written on 4/15.

Have to admit though that my 3" has spent the greater amount of time in my pocket. 3" blades are really my preferred carry. But switching out orange for translucent green or Ti with some bronze standoffs and clip make it feel like I have a 2nd or 3rd XM.
