After the usual long wait for my Busse Battle Mistress "E" I finally became the owner of a "nuclear tough" knife. I played with it for awhile, cut up a couple of boxes and then decided to sell it...nice knife but just did not fit me well and due to health decided I would never use it much.
Now I have a Camillus/BK&T Brute, Companion, and on its way, a Magnum Camp. These knivs just feel better to me and though I may never get to use them as they were intended to be used I just like having them around. I like the shapes, steel, sheaths, and though the handle slabs are a bit thick for my small hands they still feel "kinda good".
This is not to say that the Busse is not a good knife, but as far as the performance for the dollar it weighs heavily on the side of the BK&T knives made at Camillus.
I have finally found the price range/performance knives for me!
