Pretty new to knives. Started out collecting a few Buck knives; the 110, 112, and Buck-Strider. After buying these there was nothing else in the Buck line that really appealed to me. Also it bugged me that they are having some of their knives made in Taiwan and not quite knowing when placing an internet order if the knife is made in the USA or Taiwan. I wanted to find a manufacturer that were making all of their knives in the US.
I began my search to find a new manufacturer to focus on. I've been hearing alot of good things about Swamp Rat knives. Seems to be a company that produces knives that borders on the production/custom edge.
Further research let me know about a new folder called the Rat Trap.
I immediately placed my order for one of the 100 Rat Traps.
Looks like a neat company. Love the name. Also have had rats as pets in the past.
