i now understand where the "meaner street" name comes into play

and the anagram would appear to be "mrs" :p

Compared to the new one the old one looks more like a "prissy little girlie Street" or for ease of remembering the PLGS ;):p

:D:D

Jerry, how about making the butt end of the "Meaner Street" into a bottle opener? Since the "Meaner Street" will be a EDC, you never know when you will need to open some CBL! It looks as though it needs to be finished into something.

:D

Ok, Ok, that is bad ass. I still want my FSH, but, i'll take one of those new mean streets in the meantime....

That's a fun puppy, Jerry!!

If I may ask, what is the stock thickness on the MRS, edge type (symetrical or asym), and primary bevel grind type? On my monitor it almost looks like it has a shallow hollow grind.

PorkJok,

The stock thickness on the MRS is .220. It has a full height (ground all the way to the spine) flat grind and sports a 20 degree symmetrical edge. . . . . errrrr. . . and a swedge grind. . . . let's not forget the swedge grind. . . .

Jerry

Jerry, isn't there a "partial swedge grind" on the top spine of the .220 MRS? That is what the description on the website states:

"The thick .220" blade (That's nearly 1/4" thick) features a full height grind for optimal cutting geometry and is coupled with a partial swedge grind for added strength and much better penetration."

I hope so, that is what I ordered, thanks.

Hmmm . . . I checked my post and it seems to say that I mentioned the swedge grind. . . .

Don't worry. . . .it's Five O' clock somewhere ;)

(Behold the power of editing) :D
