Well, I've caught the bug. I love pocket knives, always have. My grandfather was a whittler and always had a knife in his pocket. And I love things that are "traditional" and "old-timey." And to find these knives being made to such high quality standards is such a treat. So in a few short weeks, I've made myself a small collection. All are so well constructed and really just amazing.
Top to bottom:
#42 Missouri Trader in American Chestnut - picnic cheese cutter, a great folding table knife as well. That chestnut!
#15 Huckleberry Crown Lifter in Ebony - party knife for poppin tops
#55 Houndstooth Pattern Northwoods Burnside Jack - I just couldnt resist the blue. Amazing. And the blade is super thick and sturdy.
#66 Calf Roper Slim in Cocobolo - I cant explain how classy this knife is. The slim profile and the slight serpentine curve--wow! Really, tux pocket material. Especially in the #8 shell cordovan pocket slip I made for it.
#22 Magnum in Bocote wood - awesome little watch pocket knife, with a more manly personality than either of those flanking it
#09 Esquire in Stag - I needed a stag knife, and it was cheaper to get a small one (ha!). And boy, do I love this little esquire pattern, wow!!
Yeah, I'm poor now. But my pocket is rich.
cheers, knife people.
